Nuit Blanche: One Sleepless Night
Enlarging on our reputation as a thriving hothouse of experimentation, as "the most determinedly contemporary musical event of its kind in the country" (The Globe and Mail), the 2010 edition of The Guelph Jazz Festival will put its own unique stamp on the Nuit Blanche concept. We'll animate public spaces by presenting 40 additional performances, all in the enlivened setting of an all-night community spectacle. Our 24 hour event has a mandate to reinvigorate public space with the spirit of creativity and discovery.
