Have you seen Jane Bunnett's Cuban drum?
Jane Bunnett led the Carnavalissimo parade and concert that played at the Jazz Tent on Saturday of the festival. In all the mayhem that night, she lost one of her own prized Cuban drums. It is 20" (diameter) x 12" (depth), brown in colour with a black strap, and with animal skin drum heads (see photo at right, taken the night of the parade). She's heartbroken to lose it, as it was used on her Grammy-nominated CD, Alma de Santiago, and can't be replaced.
